Just Life Sciences are seeking an Applications Scientist Technician, who will be working within a rapidly expanding Life Sciences business.

Being involved with the the day to day running and maintenance of pilot and process scale bioprocessing columns and chromatography systems.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

You will have a
? Degree in chemistry, materials, biochemistry or related subject.
? Knowledge of bioprocess column and chromatography systems at pilot and process scale. ?
Experience in the use and testing of chromatography products including extensive use of AKTA instruments
? Good report writing and presentation skills.
? Be able and willing to handle hazardous chemicals according to documented H&S documentation and processes
? Use of MS office.
DESIRABLE: ? Previous experience with AxiChrom and BPG design of process columns.
? Knowledge downstream bioprocessing purification.
? Experience in large scale column packing.
? Experience in virus purification ? At least 2 years industrial experience
? Knowledge of appropriate H&S legislation and industry standards including ISO9001/14001/OHAS 18001.
