The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the management and leadership of the project managers that report directly to them, and also is responsible for the Management of the Clients expectations and will be used to reviewing and running multiple Senior Projects concurrently
Main responsibilities:

‐The role is accountable for monitoring the set business routines which enable the on time delivery of projects spanning across the Groups service offerings, delivering a World Class customer service.

‐The role is accountable for the tracking and reporting of the team KPIs to the Associate director of project management

‐The role is accountable for ensuring that the all new projects are formally initiated into the organisation according to the formal introduction procedure

‐Project Management order book is up to date, accurate and that variations to the forecasts are managed and reported

‐Changes in scope of work are identified and captured by the generation of change orders

‐To undertake such tasks and to manage specific internal or ad hoc projects as and when required to meet department and business needs and within the scope of the job-holder’s capabilities and responsibilities.

Regulatory/Industry Responsibilities:

‐Responsible for the management, leadership, development and compliance of the Project Managers that report directly to them

‐Responsible for managing and reporting the financial status of the accounts under their control and ensuring their direct reports maintain 100% accuracy of the order book and forecasting whilst ensuring that client order books are managed and growth opportunities are maximised

‐Responsible for ensuring their direct reports follow and maintain the formal project initiation process ensuring that project reviews are conducted and outputs are tracked and reported

‐Responsible for ensuring all project plans are accurate and maintained and milestone delivery to clients are monitored and tracked, reporting the data monthly to the associate director of project management

‐Responsible for tracking compliance of deviation, change controls and all actions associated reporting the data monthly to the associate director of project management

‐Responsible for ensuring that their Project Managers work cross functionally to efficiently deliver well executed project milestones on time, professionally and in compliance

‐Provide SME expertise during situations which require oversight or prioritisation and escalating when required

Ensuring that their direct reports behave and model the correct professional behaviours to promote client portfolio growth

‐Ensure regular and proactive effective feedback is provided to both Clients and internal team members

‐To identify self-development needs for future performance

‐Continually develop their direct report by actively managing poor performance and identifying succession planning opportunities

‐Provide direction for achieving revenue targets and high levels of client satisfaction, whilst being able to maintain successful management of multiple complex projects

‐To undertake such tasks and to manage specific internal or ad hoc projects as and when required to meet department and business needs and within the scope of the job-holder’s capabilities and responsibilities
